Terms and Conditions

  • These terms and conditions refer to the Big €500 Service Giveaway ("Prize Draw") and the Car Doctor Newsletter ("the newsletter"), brought to you by Car Doctor whose registered office is Unit 4 Block 4, Riverside Retail & Business Park, Quin Road, Ennis, Co. Clare ("Car Doctor", "we", "us", "our").
  • These terms and conditions are in addition to any specific terms which we have included in any promotions or messages about the newsletter, for example: by email, in any of our marketing material, or online ("promotional material").

    • The Prize Draw
  • Entry to the prize draw is granted by subscribing to our monthly newsletter, providing your email address and your name on the Prize Draw Entry page.
  • No purchase is necessary.
  • By subscribing to the newsletter, you give us permission to use your details to inform you by in a monthly email of products and related services that may be of interest to you.
  • The Prize Draw will take place within 24 hours of the close of the competition, which is midnight, December 1, 2018. Winners will be informed by email at the address they provided when signing up to the newsletter. A list of winners will be displayed in the news section of the Car Doctor website.
  • In the event of any dispute regarding the rules, results and all other matters relating to this prize draw, the decision of Car Doctor shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into. In the event of a drawn winner being unable or unwilling to accept the prize, an alternate will be chosen from those entered.
  • The prizes are five (5) vouchers to the value of €100 each towards the cost of servicing with Car Doctor. Vouchers are transferable (allowing winners to gift their voucher to another person). No cash alternatives will be given. No refund of any balance will be given; any balance remaining will be available as credit to the winner. Vouchers must be used within six (6) months of the end of the Prize Draw.
  • Members of staff and their immediate families of Car Doctor, iBrutes Media, or their related companies are not permitted to enter the draw.
  • By entering the Prize Draw, each subscriber agrees to release Car Doctor, any subsidiary and holding companies, any agents and contractors, their employees, officers, directors and representatives, from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind including, without limitation, personal injury, death, property damage, either directly or indirectly related to or arising from the Prize Draw. This does not affect your statutory rights.
  • These rules are governed by the laws of Ireland and by entering the Prize Draw you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Ireland.

Your Privacy

    Car Doctor Ltd. fully respects your right to privacy, and will not collect or publish any personal information about you through this website without your clear permission; however, the names (though not the email addresses) of winners will be published publicly at the end of the Prize Draw.
    Any personal information which you volunteer to us will be treated with the highest standards of security and confidentiality, strictly in accordance with the Data Protection Acts.
  • What personal information do we collect?
    For subscribing to the newsletter we only ask for your email address and name on the sign-up page.
  • How do we use this information?
    When subscribing a new email address for the first time, we'll send you an email which contains a verification link. Only when you click on this link will you be subscribed to the newsletter. This opt-in prevents other people from unknowingly subscribing your email address to our newsletter. As a newsletter subscriber you'll then receive monthly emails from us about our products and services that we think may be of interest to you.
  • What other information do we collect?
    When visiting this website technical details are logged by our internet service provider for our statistical purposes. No information is collected that could be used by us to personally identify website visitors. The information logged includes: the time of the visit, the IP address of the visitor, the previous website address from which the visitor reached us (including any search terms if used), the type of web browser, and operating system used.
  • You can remove your email address at any time!
    Every newsletter contains a link to unsubscribe yourself from our system. You can also remove your address here: special.cardoctor.ie/unsubscribe We shall then send you another verification link to confirm the removal of your address—this is to prevent other people from maliciously removing you from our newsletter without your consent.
